ABOUT ME
John has a degree in sculpture from Virginia Commonweath University. He learned to weld as a way to pay for his schooling and has been perfecting this craft for the past 35 years. His background has been in museum exhibit work creating models and dioramas for natural history museum, zoos, and aquariums. One of his first jobs was creating the armature that supports Diplodicus, the large dinosaur in the Houston Museum of Natural Science. He brings a knowledge and sensitivity to his work that comes from a lifelong study of the natural world. John takes great pride in his fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. He is a talented educator and enjoys explaining his craft and workmanship to collectors. Each fish is an original, one-of-a-kind piece of art.
